Job Title: Technical Leader for Desktop Support Operations

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Leader to join our team at Cross Border Talents as a Technical Leader for Desktop Support Operations. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage effective working relationships with other departments, groups, and personnel to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Provide direction, supervision, and leadership to members of the Desktop Support/IT Support Team, setting clear expectations and promoting goals and priorities.
  • Conduct periodic performance reviews of IT Support Specialists to assess their progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Oversee desktop support operations, ensuring excellent customer service to all internal or external customers.
  • Provide expert technical support, training, and assistance to desktop support personnel on network computer system issues and new technology.
  • Analyze desktop-related issues, determine problems, implement solutions, resolve or forward work orders to appropriate personnel within the IT team.
  • C Coordinate with product development and other internal departments to resolve issues, develop solutions, and improve services.
  • Collaborate with other teams within the department to improve services, processes, roll out new applications, increase and promote security.
  • E nsure service level agreements are communicated and understood by the desktop support team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in ECE, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any IT/Computer-related course.
  • Minimum 2-3 years IT support experience in Supervisory capacity.
  • Knowledge of I.T. systems and equipment, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair.
  • English language proficiency at B2 level minimum.
  • Able to work in Greece, with no sponsorship provided for this position.
