Job Title: Czech IT Team Lead with Technical Support Expertise

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Czech IT team lead to join our team at Cross Border Talents. As a technical support specialist, you will play a crucial role in leading our Desktop Support/IT Support Team and providing expert technical support, training, and assistance to desktop support personnel on network computer system issues and new technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: You will develop and manage effective working relationships with other departments, groups, and personnel. Provide direction, supervision, and leadership to members of the Desktop Support/IT Support Team.
  • Work Assignment and Prioritization: Be responsible for assigning and prioritizing work, setting expectations, promoting goals and priorities, and performance management.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct periodic performance reviews of IT Support Specialists.
  • Desktop Support Operations: Oversee desktop support operations and ensure excellent customer service to all internal or external customers.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical support, training, and assistance to desktop support personnel on network computer system issues and new technology.
  • Problem Resolution: Analyze desktop-related issues, determine problems, implement solutions, resolve or forward work orders to appropriate personnel within the IT team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with product development and other internal departments to resolve issues, develop solutions to minimize cycle time for problem resolution, and make improvements for future releases.
  • Interdepartmental Assistance: Provide assistance to other teams within the department to improve services, processes, roll out new applications, increase and promote security.
  • Service Level Agreements: Ensure service level agreements are communicated and understood by the desktop support team.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in ECE, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any IT/Computer-related course.
  • Experience: 2-3 years IT support experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Knowledge of I.T. systems and equipment as well as their installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair. An English level B2 minimum.
  • Location: Greece (all documentation to work in Greece, no sponsorship will be provided for this position).
