Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Supervisor to join our team at Cross Border Talents. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead our desktop support operations and provide expert technical support to our internal or external customers.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Desktop Support/IT Support Team, providing direction, supervision, and leadership to ensure effective working relationships with other departments, groups, and personnel.
  • Assign and prioritize work, set expectations, promote goals and priorities, and manage performance to drive excellence in customer service.
  • Conduct periodic performance reviews of IT Support Specialists to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for growth.
  • Oversee desktop support operations, ensuring excellent customer service and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Provide expert technical support, training, and assistance to desktop support personnel on network computer system issues and new technology.
  • Analyze desktop-related issues, determine problems, implement solutions, and resolve or forward work orders to appropriate personnel within the IT team.
  • Coordinate with product development and other internal departments to resolve issues, develop solutions, and improve services.
  • Assist other teams within the department to improve services, processes, roll out new applications, increase security, and promote best practices.
  • Ensure service level agreements are communicated and understood by the desktop support team.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in ECE, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any IT/Computer-related course.
  • At least 2-3 years of IT support experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Knowledge of I.T. systems and equipment as well as their installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • A minimum English language proficiency of B2.
