We are seeking to hire a talented Service Delivery / Transition Manager, to steer the end-to-end delivery and steady-state hand-over of several web-based, cloud-hosted applications that power our client's energy-trading, demand-response and corporate platforms. You'll coordinate multiple technical teams and external vendors, own service-level performance, and ensure every new or changed service lands smoothly in production without business disruption.
What will you do:
- Oversee daily service performance, ensuring SLAs/KPIs for availability, capacity and user experience are met or exceeded.
- Plan and manage service transitions—from project phase through operational readiness and go-live—covering training, documentation, risk mitigation and support-model design.
- Coordinate release calendars so production environments remain stable during rollouts and patches.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, internal IT teams and third-party providers; chair regular service-review meetings.
- Serve as an escalation point for major incidents, lead rapid restoration, and drive root-cause-analysis with Problem Management.
- Identify and deliver continuous service improvement (CSI) initiatives that enhance quality, reduce cost and boost customer satisfaction.
- Mentor matrixed resources, cultivate a culture of accountability and learning, and surface skills gaps for targeted training.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 5 + years in IT service delivery / transition management; demonstrated success with multi-vendor environments.
- ITIL v4 Managing Professional (or v3 Expert) certification.
- Hands-on delivery of web-based and SaaS applications.
- Proven track record transitioning and operating services in public or hybrid cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP).
- Strong stakeholder-management, negotiation and analytical skills.
- Professional fluency in English (spoken & written).
Nice to have:
- 2 + years in energy, utilities, or other critical-infrastructure sectors.
- Experience leading SAP-landscape transitions or upgrades.
- Familiarity with SIAM or other multi-supplier operating models.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
