Assistant Housekeeping Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to support the daily operations of our hotel's housekeeping department. As a key member of our team, you will assist the Housekeeping Manager in ensuring that our rooms and public areas are clean, well-maintained, and meet our high standards.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Train and coach housekeeping staff on cleaning and maintenance procedures to improve productivity and quality.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with front desk staff to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Manage housekeeping supplies and inventory to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Schedule staff and assign tasks to optimize resource utilization and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to enhance our hotel's reputation and customer experience.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with colleagues and guests.
  • Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Fluency in English, with knowledge of additional languages considered an asset.
