Housekeeping Operations Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping team, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. This includes leading by example, delegating tasks effectively, and conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.

  • Provide guidance and support to housekeeping staff to improve their performance and service delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity within the housekeeping department.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve any issues or concerns related to housekeeping services.
  • Ensure that all housekeeping staff receive comprehensive training on hotel policies, procedures, and protocols.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in hospitality or housekeeping management is preferred.
