Public Transport Services Customer Support Specialist

Patrique Mercier Recruitment PT is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Public Transport Services Department. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our Italian-speaking customers.
Your primary responsibility will be to act as the first point of contact for customers, assisting them with inquiries related to public transportation services, schedules, and ticketing. You will be expected to provide high-quality support, addressing customer complaints and resolving issues efficiently.
To ensure seamless travel experiences for our customers, you will need to maintain accurate records of customer interactions and collaborate with other departments to escalate complex issues. Additionally, you will be required to stay informed about public transport regulations, services, and updates to provide accurate information to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer support in Italian, addressing inquiries related to public transport services, schedules, and ticketing.
- Resolve customer complaints and assist with problem-solving to ensure a smooth and satisfactory experience.
- Document customer interactions accurately, maintaining detailed records for future reference and service improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to escalate and efficiently resolve complex issues that require additional assistance.
- Stay informed about public transport regulations, services, and updates to provide accurate information to customers.
- Engage in proactive outreach to customers, following up on inquiries and ensuring their needs are met.
Requirements:
- Fluency in Italian and strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential.
- Experience in customer service is highly advantageous, particularly within public transport or related sectors.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on effectively resolving customer issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, allowing for professional and empathetic customer interactions.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate records.
