The Company

Starting with the role: We are currently searching to hire a Head of Information Systems and Networks, for the IT Division of ConKat ATE

The individual will be responsible for the installation and smooth operation of central IT and Network infrastructure for the supported companies, including operating systems, databases, communications infrastructure, directories, access management, LANs, WANs and vessel IT topologies.

During your day you will:

  • Be responsible for the monitoring and smooth operation of all existing IT and Network systems in office buildings and company vessels. Ensure the effectiveness of these systems and propose continuous improvements through renewals and upgrades
  • Appraise and propose the requirements and specifications for IT systems and networks for company office buildings, offsite locations and vessels and their implementation
  • Ensure the viability and durability of IT and network infrastructure and systems for the main office building and other distributed sites
  • Prepare the section budget and propose new projects within his/hers subject area
  • Oversee the IT systems integration of new companies, new vessels and new end users
  • Coordinate end user trainings, onsite support in various locations and other ad-hoc requests
  • Contribute to the development plan of the team and monitor their performance

What you need to stand out:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT Systems and Networks or relevant field
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in IT Systems and Networks including at least 3 years managing System & Network teams
  • Master's degree in IT Systems and Networks will be considered an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of IT Systems and Networks management and operations, as well as knowledge of the relevant vendors and markets
  • Excellent knowledge in hardware, virtualization, OS, LANs and WANs, data warehouse systems, communications systems, Active Directory, Public Cloud (preferable AWS)
  • Certified knowledge of TCP/IP protocol, VMWare, CISCO, Checkpoint Microsoft, Dell
  • Fluency in English and Greek, both oral and written
