Pepper Hellas Asset Management S.A. is looking for an IT Junior System Administrator to support our IT infrastructure and management. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and ensuring the reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and virtualization. A successful IT Junior System Administrator will have a thorough knowledge of network infrastructure, server management, and will strive to maintain the highest possible levels of systems and infrastructure availability.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the system users and troubleshoot issues, providing technical assistance and training when necessary,
  • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure,
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools,
  • Monitor and analyze system performance and security, proactively addressing issues as they arise,
  • Manage backup and recovery processes for systems and data, ensuring integrity and availability

Requirements

  • Practical experience in a role such as IT Technician, Engineer, Administrator, or a similar position,
  • Knowledge of operating systems (Windows), network protocols, and hardware components,
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (such as VMware, Hyper-V) and system management tools,
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and Office 365 will be considered a plus,
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
