Account Manager (Corporate Communications)

Your role in summary

Manages end to end the relations with the assigned accounts and stakeholders, being the principle point of contact, ensuring their satisfaction and retention by applying V+O principles and values. Responsible for providing professional advice and bear final responsibility for the deliverables of the team. Acts as a people manager for the Executives of the team and as an ambassador of the company by modeling the values and the behaviors of V+O to the internal as well as to the external teams

Indicatively:

  • Lead day-to-day and long-term strategy; keep KPIs on track and turn insights into recommendations.
  • Deepen client trust through proactive counsel, timely delivery, and measurable impact.
  • Craft press materials (press releases, Q&As, advertorials, interviews, speeches) aligned with agreed strategy.
  • Build strong media & stakeholder networks; act as the first line of contact for your accounts.
  • Oversee all press-office activities and ensure always-on readiness.
  • Plan resources, budgets, and timelines; land projects
    on brief, on time, on budget.
  • Responsible for monitoring strategy as well as issues/crises handling under the supervision of the Director / Senior Management Team.
  • Undertake the people manager role as per company's description for all people that are assigned to their team (manage, train, guide and develop executives by demonstrating behaviors according to company's values and people management processes).
  • Ensure appropriate cooperation with external providers and follow up on their performance applying the company policies.
  • Manage the completion of all client related administrative tasks (databases, ISO files, etc.) on time and according to the policies and procedures of the company.

Qualifications & Standards

Education & Experience

  • University degree in Media Communications, Public Relations, or relevant field.
  • Master's-level studies in Communications/PR are highly desirable.
  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant working experience in a PR firm, or in a Corporate Affairs Department.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages.
  • Strong media relations & stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven experience in issues & crisis handling
    (holding statements, Q&As, approvals, rapid response).
  • Digital fluency & tools: media databases/monitoring, newsroom, basic analytics; PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
