Job Description:

As an Event Manager at Optimum Greece, youwill be at the forefront of planning, coordinating, and executing a diversearray of events. These range from corporate conferences and incentive trips toproduct launches and luxury private events. You will work closely with clientsto understand their vision and lead the event team to bring their ideas tolife, ensuring each event is executed to the highest standards. This roledemands strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, as well asa deep understanding of the Greek event landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Planning and Execution: Lead the end-to-end event planning process, from initial concept through to execution and post-event evaluation.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their objectives, themes, and expectations, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
• Logistics Management: Handle all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, vendor coordination, budgeting, and timeline management.
• Production Oversight: Oversee all elements of event production, such as catering, entertainment, and technical support, ensuring seamless execution.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all events are delivered within financial parameters without compromising on quality.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, partners, and team members, to ensure smooth event operations.
• On-Site Management: Lead the on-site management of events, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring a flawless experience for clients and attendees.
• Customer Service: Ensure high-quality customer service and client satisfaction at every stage of the event planning and execution process.
• Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success and client satisfaction, providing feedback and recommendations for future improvements.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of event management experience, preferably in luxury or corporate events.
• Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in a Greek Destination Management Company is preferred.
• Destination Expertise: Excellent knowledge of Greece and its various destinations, including venues, suppliers, and local attractions.
• Event Specialization: Proven experience in organizing Meetings, Incentives, Product Launches, and Corporate Events.
• Skills: Strong understanding of event logistics, budgeting, and vendor management.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in event management software and tools.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel and work outside regular office hours as needed.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Client Experience: Experience working with high-profile clients and luxury brands.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead a team and manage large-scale events.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
