Role Basics:
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Proposal Writer at Future Needs. We are looking for a person located in: Cyprus, Greece or Lisbon with office presence 2 times a week, travel 20% of your time and work from home flexibility the rest of the days.

What are you going to do?

• Lead the full proposal lifecycle:
  From initial concept and opportunity identification to final submission, you'll own the process. You'll strategically design project concepts, draft compelling content, and expertly coordinate partners to build a flawless final submission.
• Be a strategic force:
  Conduct deep-dive research into funding calls, guidelines, and strategic policy priorities to ensure our proposals are not just compliant, but strategically aligned with the EU's vision.
• Craft winning narratives:
  Write, edit, and proofread technical and non-technical content, ensuring coherence and compliance with Horizon Europe requirements.
• Champion collaboration:
  Serve as the central point of coordination, liaising with internal teams and external partners across Europe—from leading research institutions and universities to industry players and NGOs—to secure high-quality, timely inputs.
• Elevate our brand:
  Ensure every proposal powerfully reflects Future Needs's unique strengths, our legacy of impact, and our potential for groundbreaking innovation.
• Represent Future Needs:
  Act as our ambassador at brokerage and networking events, forging new partnerships and exploring exciting funding and collaboration opportunities.

Must-have Qualifications

• Excellent English speaking and writing skills proven by portfolio of reports, research papers, proposals/tenders and studies;
• Expert-level familiarity with EU platforms, administrative forms, and the nuances of the European funding landscape.
• A proven track record in authoring successful EU proposals - Horizon, Erasmus, AMIF, CERV, I3 or other
• The ability to independently manage complex processes and handle tight deadlines with professionalism and grace.

Other Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of the Open Science concepts
• Research experience
• Ability to make a business plan for project outcomes
• Fluency in Greek
• Master's or Phd degree

Either in the role of a consultant or a consortium partner, we help our clients -innovative companies and leading researchers- in securing funding for and implementation of ambitious R&D projects in the Air Logistics and Mobility sector, by taking research results from the stage of experimentation to the stage of commercialization.
