Are you ready to lead FMCG sales and make a real commercial impact?

On behalf of a manufacturing company operating in the FMCG sector, with commercial activity in Greece and international markets, we are looking for a Sales Manager who will drive sales performance, lead high-performing teams, and contribute to the company's commercial growth through strategic planning and effective execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, implement, and monitor sales strategies in alignment with business objective
  • Lead, support, and develop the sales team, ensuring high performance, continuous improvement, and a strong talent pipeline
  • Set sales targets, track performance indicators, and ensure achievement of commercial goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and business partners
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expansion across existing and new clients
  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to support data-driven decision-making
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure smooth commercial execution
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance reviews for management
  • Establish and maintain sales processes, including pipeline management, KPIs, and performance tracking
  • ​​​​​​​Monitor sales budgets and profitability, supporting margin and revenue optimization

​​​​​​​Qualifications & Candidate Profile Requirements​​​​

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • ​​​​​​​At least 5 years of experience in a Sales Manager or similar commercial leadership role within the FMCG industry
  • Solid track record in leading and motivating sales teams, achieving targets, and driving commercial growth
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business plans
  • Practical experience using CRM software and proficient in MS Excel
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Very good command of Greek & English
  • Willingness to travel as required
