About The Role
The RGM Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the decision-making process by providing comprehensive and relevant data on various topics, including but not limited to pricing interventions and enhancements in promotional activities and other trade investments. By offering clarity on the different Revenue Growth Management pillars, this position ensures that strategic decisions are informed and effective. The Analyst collaborates closely with local teams across Commercial, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Marketing departments to implement key opportunities and monitor execution. This collaborative effort is aimed at achieving sustainable and balanced growth throughout the business by leveraging insights that drive revenue optimization and strategic alignment across functions.
Top Accountabilities
- Pricing: Facilitates comprehensive market analysis using the multi-lens approach, focusing on the 5Cs: Context, Consumer, Customer, Competition, and Climate. This thorough examination aims to uncover pricing opportunities that can drive growth and assess their potential impact. Additionally, plays a vital role in contributing to the development of the annual Pricing Strategy and engages actively in various ad-hoc pricing initiatives designed to enhance profit margins and strengthen market position
- Promotions: Own the assessment of the effectiveness of our promotional investment across various channels by conducting thorough pre-and post- Measurement and Evaluation (M&E) analysis. Through these evaluations, identify potential opportunities for promotions that can enhance our market presence and increase profitability. Offer detailed analytical support to commercial teams to guide their decision-making processes regarding promotional activities
- Trade Investment: Diligent monthly monitoring of Trade Investment (TI) expenditures across all channels, aligning with targets and promptly notifying stakeholders of any discrepancies. Identify opportunities to enhance transparency and conditionality while contributing to the precise allocation of TI by brand and customer, thereby improving P&L accuracy. Key participant in the development of the Indirects' TI platform, focusing on data specifications, testing and reporting capabilities.
- Product Assortment: Assist in optimizing product assortment and mix by utilizing demand forecasting, sales data analysis, and market research to align offerings with consumer needs and maximize profitability. Support the development of channel-specific strategies that utilize these insights to enhance revenue potential and drive sustainable growth
- Maintain and develop Power BI dashboards that serve as vital tools for ensuring transparency throughout the decision-making process. These dashboards will provide key stakeholders with critical insights across all Revenue Growth pillars, enabling data-driven decisions that enhance strategic planning
About You
Ideal experiences / Qualifications / capabilities
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Revenue Growth Management, Commercial Finance, or Sales, whether internally or externally
- Strong analytical and strategic skills with the capability to conduct complex analysis and synthesize information to derive insights and actionable recommendations. This includes structuring problems, gathering data, identifying issues, and presenting findings effectively
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to evaluate market dynamics and financial data and identify opportunities to drive business growth
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with and influencing individuals in higher-level positions
- Proven ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and deadlines and act independently
- Advanced expertise in Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI, enabling efficient data analysis, visualization, reporting and presentation
- Experience using Nielsen and Circana a plus but not necessary
- Proficient in English
