Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Athens for an Assistant Import Manager. The Assistant Import Manager will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as import operations and ocean/road freight forwarding.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a similar position (at least 1 year)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Teamwork and flexibility
  • Organizational, communicational and negotiation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and send the purchase orders and follow the protocol of agreed upon terms
  • Research for the most beneficial freight costs based on the required Incoterms
  • Communication with suppliers abroad
  • Daily communication with customs brokers, carriers, etc.
  • Control of import documentation.
