Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with Greek Accounting Standards. This role is ideal for a skilled accounting professional looking to contribute to a dynamic team and support financial operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate and timely posting of financial transactions.

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.

  • Reconcile accounts, including bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and other financial data.

  • Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial information is properly recorded.

  • Prepare and process payroll and related tax filings.

  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of audits, both internal and external.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

  • Participate in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.

  • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information and provide financial insights.

  • Continuously improve accounting systems, processes, and controls to enhance efficiency.

  • Handle ad hoc accounting tasks and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of Greek Accounting Standards (Ε.Λ.Π.), MYDATA and financial reporting standards.

  • Experience with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.

  • Experience with automotive ERP system Incadea or Navision, will be considered an asset.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial records.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

  • Fluency in English.
