Ciner Ship Management Limited, based in Glyfada, operates a modern fleet of 36 bulk carriers and 19 newbuilding is seeking an Accountant to join the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Post and process of journal entries (accounts payable/receivable)
  • Reconciliation of suppliers balances
  • Bank accounts and hire statements
  • Posting bank payments
  • Knowledge of MGA will be considered as an asset
  • Assisting in internal financial audits and reports
  • Support on day-to-day accounting, correspondence with suppliers, preparing accounting reports for the management, invoicing, etc.
  • Support month-end and year-end close process

Requirements:

  • Holds a university degree in accounting or finance, along with 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong skills in team-oriented worker, ethical, integrity, multitasking, communication, analytical thinking, attention to detail and organization for accuracy and efficiency, and continuous learning to stay current with industry changes
  • Experienced on ERP Danaos, MS Office
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English
