Job Description
The Applications and Sales Engineer role plays a crucial part in delivering cutting-edge technical solutions across various industries such as Food & Beverage, Materials & Construction, and Oil & Energy. This position involves executing strategic deals that significantly impact clients and the company alike. The ideal candidate will possess excellent understanding and matching customer requirements with effective offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new opportunities and develop new markets
- Promote innovative technical solutions associated with gases
- Collaborate closely with sales, technical, and engineering teams to develop and implement new solutions and ensure timely quality delivery of technical projects
- Manage Major Accounts - Clients and deliver services to maintain high client satisfaction
- Build and develop strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners
- Lead contract negotiations, finalize agreements, and secure winning deals
- Create, develop, and implement strategies aligned with business objectives
- Drive revenue growth and improve profitability
- Conduct business analysis and present recommendations to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering; MBA considered as a plus
- At least 2-3 years experience in relevant positions preferably in industrial or technical environment - B2B sales
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- P&L responsibility and strategic planning expertise
- Solution-oriented
- Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking
- Ability to be polite and compassionate
