Scientific Gases Business Development Professional

We are seeking a talented and results-driven Scientific Gases Business Development Professional to join our team at Sol Group. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving business growth and expansion through the development of new customer relationships and the delivery of innovative scientific gases solutions.

The RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for:
- Identifying and targeting new customers within the pharmaceutical, academic, and industrial sectors;
- Presenting, promoting, and selling scientific gases and related services to new and existing clients;
- Achieving sales targets through strategic planning and execution;
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including researchers, laboratory managers, and procurement teams;
- Conducting regular visits to client sites to understand their needs and offer customized solutions;
- Providing technical guidance to customers, ensuring they select the best products and services for their operations;
- Collaborating with technical teams to address customer queries and troubleshoot any issues;
- Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and account status in our CRM system;
- Preparing regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and customer insights.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related scientific/technical field;
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in laboratory-related products or services;
- Familiarity with laboratory operations and the applications of scientific gases;
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely;
- Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools;
- Willingness to travel extensively within the designated sales territory.
