Hotel Reservations Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Reservations Professional to join our team. As a key member of our reservations department, you will be responsible for handling booking inquiries and converting these requests into sales.

Your primary focus will be on managing incoming calls and emails related to rooms reservations, ensuring timely and professional responses. Accurate data entry is essential in enabling all relevant departments to access up-to-date information to support hotel operations.

You will also focus on maximizing sales opportunities while consistently delivering exceptional service quality to all customers.

  • Maximize room revenue through the conversion of telephone calls into sales.
  • Be fluent in all hotel products and services.
  • Handle incoming calls and emails pertaining to rooms reservations.
  • Be fully conversant with all market segments and rate plans used across all distribution channels.
  • Handle customer queries and complaints relating to Rooms Reservations.
  • Identify sales opportunities through individuals, Corporate Accounts, Wholesalers and Travel Management companies.
  • Support the Reservations Manager and/or Revenue Management leader with special projects as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's Degree (IEK) or two years technical certificate.
  • A sales-oriented personality, able to converse with a wide range of experienced and inexperienced customers, in both the local language and English.
  • To be fluent in Greek and English, verbal and written (Other languages such as German or French will be considered a plus).
  • To be able to take a customer-focused decision by yourself, whilst remaining cognizant of all sales and revenue management principles.
  • To display passion for our customers, and enthusiasm for the job.
  • To possess strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, (Excel/PowerPoint/Word). Experience in Opera PMS will be considered a plus.
