Position summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating logistics operations to ensure that our 3rd party logistics partner follow best practices and processes and will be responsible for measuring their key performance indicators. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing projects to drive quality in products and services, to improve cost management and compliance. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

A day in the life …

  • Coordinate and manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Organize the destruction process and manage the bad goods budget.
  • Organize co-packing activities in the warehouse.
  • Maintain the stock reconciliation between Nespresso and 3PL stock.
  • Take an active role in 3PL tenders related to warehousing, transportation, and various logistics operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless supply chain processes.
  • Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to logistics activities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of logistics strategies to optimize costs and efficiency.
  • Support compliance with company policies and industry regulations to ensure all logistics operations are conducted within legal and organizational frameworks.
  • Promote and uphold safety standards across all logistics activities, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and stakeholders.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Proactively collaborate with all Nespresso Logistics Team in order to guarantee full alignment and efficiency among the entire Supply Chain.
  • Regularly assess the warehouse layout and conduct logistics excellence reviews to enhance space utilization and operational efficiency within the warehouse.
  • Develop and manage Power BI reports for warehouse activities, inventory management, and product destructions.

What makes you successful

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field with a focus on Supply Chain management
  • MBA or other Postgraduate studies in relevant field will be consider as a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
  • Product Portfolio management knowledge (lifecycle, shelf-life)
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (with focus in Excel, PowerBI).
  • Fluency in Greek and English (written and oral)
  • Strong project & time management capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices is a plus.
  • Candidates who have worked within a food or FMCG environment will be highly regarded.
