is seeking a qualified
HSQE Operator
to join the team. The successful candidate will support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Company's Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management System (HSQE), ensuring compliance with international regulations and internal standards across shore-based and vessel operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of the Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management System (HSQE); provide recommendations for improvement.
• Oversee Company operations (both ashore and on board) to ensure compliance with respect to Company HSQE procedures.
• Coordinate the planning, scheduling, and follow-up of Company and Vessel audits.
• Regularly assess Company compliance with international regulations and industry best practices.
• Monitor the status of Company DOC/ISO and vessel SMC/ISSC/MLC/ISO certifications; ensure validity and conformance.
• Conduct trend analysis of departmental KPIs; identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze findings from internal and external audits (including RO/RSO audits); prepare trend reports for management.
• Draft and submit Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) to RO/RSO following external audits.
• Prepare materials and minutes for Management Review Meetings.
• Maintain accurate records in the relevant Company digital systems.
• Liaise with Recognized Organizations, Flag States, authorities, and third parties to ensure continuous compliance and certification of the fleet.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar HSQE role in the shipping industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Proficient in English, orally and in writing
• High sense of responsibility and attention to detail
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
