Compatibility Operator

TMS Cardiff Gas Ltd.
is currently seeking to recruit a
Compatibility Operator
,
responsible for undertaking ship and shore compatibility (SSC) studies for the LNG fleet under management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the vessel compatibility process and coordinate all third-party inspections, including terminal assessments
• Maintain and manage the LMP Register, ensuring all SSCS-related data (e.g., list of approved terminals) is accurate and up to date
• Operate and update the Operations Database website, including:

-SSCS records

-Navigation equipment monitoring

-Fleet campaign tracking

-Enquiry follow-up for cargo, navigation, mooring, and the "Look Around" feature

• Monitor and track invoices related to assigned tasks
• Prepare and maintain records for monthly meetings
• Update and circulate circulars related to ports of call or any factors that could impact voyage execution
• Maintain accurate filing systems, including SSCS documentation and other assigned records
• Review and update SQEMS Ops procedures to ensure compliance with current operational standards

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Marine Academy degree combined with sailing experience at cadet level as minimum and/or University degree in Naval Architecture
  or
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position
• IT literate, especially with MS Office
• Proficient in English, orally and in writing
• High sense of responsibility and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
