As an Accounting Associate, you will be responsible for participating in the daily tasks of the Accounting department.

What you'll do

• Compiling and reviewing financial information.
• Preparing financial forms, documents, and reports.
• Assisting with the preparation of budgets and financial statements.
• Assisting with accounts receivables, accounts payables, and payroll processing.
• Preparing and submitting accurate tax filings (e.g., VAT, withholding taxes, VIES, myDATA).
• Oversee the general ledger, including month-end and year-end close processes, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Collaborate with other departments, auditors, and external stakeholders as needed.
• Support daily accounting operations and ensure the implementation of accounting standards.
• Complying with federal, state, and local legal regulations and requirements.
• Prepare and submit management reports in a timely manner and also ensure delivery deadlines

What we are looking for

• BSc/Ba in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
• MSc degree in related field will be considered as an advantage
• Minimum 2 years of proven working experience in accounting, ideally in a hotel environment
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases
• Organizational skills and the ability to maintain precise records
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
