Blue Planet Shipping is seeking to recruit a Technical Assistant:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Technical Department
  • Organizing and maintaining files and databases both in electronic and hard copy forms
  • Keeping records of the department's agreements with subcontractors/suppliers, etc.
  • Review and process the department's invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Maritime studies or related field
  • 1-2 years of relevant office experience in a ship management company.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Advanced computer literacy
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the Danaos ERP system will be considered an asset
