Role Description

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Ship Registration Assistant at our Piraeus location. The Ship Registration Assistant will assist with vessel registration activities along the stages of registration and certification throughout a vessel's lifecycle. A key responsibility for the Ship Registration Assistant will be to liaise with internal departments, external clients, and regulatory authorities to ensure the efficient processing of registration and certification.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including excellent interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritize work effectively and efficiently
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates proactive approach in achieving results by anticipating, initiating, and taking actions to solve problems, escalate issues when appropriate and display a 'get things done' attitude
  • Ability to understand and comply with working procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Maritime Studies or related field
  • Experience in marine industry and knowledge of ships is an advantage, but not required
  • Ability to work well in a team and in a multinational environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures
