About the role

SciFY is expanding its EU projects portfolio and we are looking for a highly motivated
EU Proposal Writer & Project Manager

. In this dual role, you will:

• Lead the preparation of competitive proposals

for EU-funded programmes (Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, CERV, Interreg, etc.), turning ideas into strong funding applications.

• Manage awarded projects

, ensuring smooth implementation and maximized social impact.

• Collaborate with SciFY's multidisciplinary team and European partners to transform innovative concepts into impactful results.

You will collaborate internally with SciFY's Product Development, Engineering, and Marketing teams and will directly report to the Chief Marketing and Funding Officer.

Responsibilities

Proposal Writing & Business Development

• Identify relevant EU funding opportunities and calls.

• Coordinate and lead proposal writing, including concept design, work plan drafting, budgeting, and partner liaison.

• Develop compelling narratives aligned with SciFY's mission and EU priorities.

• Build and maintain partnerships with research institutes, NGOs, universities, and businesses.

Project Management

• Oversee the planning, implementation, and reporting of EU-funded projects.

• Manage deliverables, milestones, and budget monitoring.

• Ensure compliance with EU financial and administrative rules.

• Act as the main point of contact with project partners and EU authorities.

• Collaborate with SciFY's Marketing team to disseminate project results and maximize impact.

Requirements

Education

: Bachelor's or Master's degree (in Business, Humanities, IT, Engineering, or related field).

Experience

:

• Minimum
  2 years of hands-on experience in proposal writing

for EU programmes.
- At least
2 years in EU project management

, including reporting and monitoring.

Skills

:

• Excellent written and spoken English (C1 or higher).
• Excellent Greek (written & oral).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multicultural environments.
• Ownership, accountability, and problem-solving mindset.
• Availability to travel within and outside Schengen.
