Position: Technical Manager for EU-funded research projects

Job Description

As a Technical Project Manager at ITML, you will play a crucial role in managing EU-funded projects. Your responsibilities include:

· Managing EU-funded projects, ensuring compliance with proposal provisions and timelines.

· Serving as the technical liaison between the project coordinator/customer and the technical team.

· Participating/leading the design and delivery of subsystems within project scopes.

· Developing operational work plans, tracking project activities and addressing potential issues.

· Contributing to EU project deliverables and proposal preparation.

· Developing technical operating plans for projects.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

· A degree in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

· Experience in technical management.

· Experience in in EU-funded research projects.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills.

· Strong organizational and project management skills.

· Fluency in English and Greek (both spoken and written).

· Ability to cooperate with international partners and work across distributed teams.

· A keen attention to detail and technical requirements, being responsibly involved and engaged in the project, and accountable for PM functions.

· Ability to travel within Europe.

· Ability to work with minimum supervision, both independently and as part of a team.

Additional Qualifications

While not required, any of the following qualifications would be considered advantageous:

· Experience with Data Science, Data Engineering and/or Machine Learning.

· Familiarity with systems design and Microservice architectures.

· Experience with the cybersecurity domain.

· Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with Jira.
