We are looking for a 
Financial Project Manager
 to join our Finance Department.

Responsibilities
:

  • Perform Financial Project Management in EU-funded research and innovation projects (Horizon 2020, NSRF/ESPA).
  • Monitor and review internal control procedures to comply with the funding agency's guidelines
  • Track and update project related expenditures in line with the project budget and the implementation of the WPs.
  • Prepare and submit interim and final financial reports to the funding agency / Coordinator in accordance with the financial rules of the funding agency & ensure that all reporting deadlines are met.
  • Prepare and submit internal financial & effort report for each project to the Coordinator when required and respond to their queries.
  • Calculate the annual hourly rates for all personnel and update staff costs in each project accordingly.
  • Ensure that the personnel cost breakdown in each project is supported by timesheets.
  • Reconciliation of the projects' expenses with the Company's accounting books.
  • Liaison with company's accounting department and external financial consultants.
  • Alignment with company's PMO and project team leaders for personnel allocation and effort breakdown.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years in a similar position, specializing in financial project management for EU and national-funded projects (Horizon 2020/Europe, NSRF/ESPA).

Education

  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Specialization in project management is a plus.

  • Excellent command of English (oral, written, and comprehension).
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  • Able to prioritise workflow which includes personal and team planning.
  • Problem-solving and result-oriented mindset.
