Project Manager – Engineer

We're looking for a Project Manager – Engineer to join our engineering team in Athens, Greece:

Responsibilities:

  • Project Lifecycle Management
    : Oversee full project cycle, from concept and design to on-site implementation.
  • Design Review & Pre-Construction
    : Assess design coherence, identify construction issues early, and resolve missing information before execution.
  • Time, Quality, and Cost Adherence
    : Ensure all on-site activities align with project timelines, quality standards, and budget.
  • Drawing Preparation
    : Create necessary project drawings in AutoCAD for management services.
  • Team & Subcontractor Coordination
    : Manage project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholder communication for smooth project flow.
  • Standards & Specifications Compliance
    : Monitor on-site work for alignment with international standards and project specifications.
  • Close-Out & Contract Management
    : Prepare punch lists, address contractual issues, and finalize contracts.
  • Budget & Financial Reporting
    : Track project budget adherence and report financial aspects.
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
    : Update, implement, and document SOPs for each project phase.
  • Subcontractor Coordination
    : Organize on-site subcontractor tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Cost Estimation & Control
    : Prepare contracts, cost estimates, and manage project financials.
  • Documentation & Record Keeping
    : Maintain all technical and managerial site forms, registers, and submittals.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Compliance
    : Ensure HSE measures are implemented on site.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture - PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification is a big plus
  • 5-yr work experience in a related position
  • Strong command of AUTOCAD – 3DS MAX, ARCHICAD, SKETCHUP
  • Familiar with "Microsoft Project"
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Analytical understanding of engineering to effectively problem-solve issues
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks following a fast-paced environment
  • Have strong reporting, communication and debriefing skills
