We currently have professionals working on-site across Greece and are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our civil engineering initiatives for telecommunications infrastructure deployment.

The Role

As Project Manager for Telecommunications Civil Engineering, you will lead and coordinate the execution of critical infrastructure projects, representing our company before clients, authorities, and subcontractors. This is a senior management position perfect for an ambitious civil engineer who wants to build something impactful while growing with our expanding Greek operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership:
    Plan, coordinate, and supervise all phases of telecommunications civil engineering projects from initiation to completion
  • Team Management:
    Supervise construction managers and coordinate with multicultural teams across logistics, purchasing, accounting, machinery, and occupational risk prevention departments
  • Budget & Schedule Management:
    Manage project budget, schedule, scope, and quality to ensure compliance with deadlines and cost parameters
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    Maintain fluid communication with main clients and local authorities, representing our company professionally
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with local Greek regulations and company Project Management policies
  • Progress Reporting:
    Lead follow-up meetings and prepare comprehensive project progress reports
  • Issue Resolution:
    Resolve technical, operational, or contractual incidents during project execution
  • Quality Assurance:
    Ensure correct execution of underground infrastructure works including trenching, cable laying, and restoration

Requirements

Education & Certification:

  • Civil Engineering degree
    or similar qualification
  • Project management certification
    (PMP or equivalent) highly valued

Experience:

  • 3-5 years minimum
    of civil engineering project management experience, preferably in telecommunications
  • Underground infrastructure deployment
    experience (fiber optic, utilities, or similar civil works)
  • Previous experience in international projects positively valued
  • Knowledge of planning and control of civil engineering works

Language Requirements:

  • Greek: Native level
  • English: Fluent
  • Spanish (advantageous but not essential)

Technical Knowledge:

  • Civil engineering regulations in Greece
  • Project management methodologies and best practices
  • Underground installation processes (trenching, ducting, cable laying, asphalt restoration)
  • Understanding of telecommunications infrastructure requirements
