On behalf of our client, a leading firm in the construction and infrastructure sector, we are seeking a Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team. This position involves working on diverse projects and ensuring the highest standards of engineering practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
  • Follow design guidelines, standards, and procedures to effectively execute assigned work.
  • Monitor the material register and confirm the designer's material list.
  • Reporting project updates, milestones and potential risks to the project manager and key stakeholders.
  • Maintaining material files and as built plans in collaboration with the project team.
  • Analysing and interpreting engineering drawings, survey reports and other technical documentation to guide the construction process.
  • Contingency management in collaboration with project team, contractors, designer and project owner.
  • Participation in scheduled company meetings and presentation of project process.
  • Providing technical guidance and expertise to resolve construction-related challenges.
  • Supervision of the application of safe work instructions during the work inof the personnel responsible for it.
  • Establishing and maintaining constructive relationships with colleagues and partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field.
  • Average of 10 years of experience in civil engineering or similar projects.
  • Excellent in MS Office.
  • Excelent skills in AutoCad 2D.
  • Fluent knowledge, verbal and written, in both English and Greek.
  • Experience in modern construction of hotel buildings, houses.
  • Experience in managing a team of craftsmen-foremen-engineers.
  • Knowledge of basic Health and Safety rules at work.
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
  • Methodology, accuracy and responsibility.
