Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver complex client engagements in market, liquidity, and ESG risk management across banking and capital markets.
  • Advise clients on the design and implementation of market, liquidity and ESG risk frameworks, including risk identification, measurement, control, monitoring, and regulatory reporting.
  • Advise clients on regulatory requirements (e.g., Basel III/IV, FRTB, IRRBB, ICAAP, ILAAP, ECB Guide on Climate & Environmental Risk), risk frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Design, review, and enhance market and liquidity risk frameworks in line with regulatory requirements (e.g., VaR, LCR, NSFR, EBA/ECB guidelines).
  • Support ESG integration into risk management practices, including scenario analysis and climate risk modeling.
  • Develop market, liquidity and ESG risk metrics, limits, and monitoring tools tailored to the client's risk appetite and business model.
  • Manage project teams, coach junior staff, and contribute to business development through proposals and client relationship management.
  • Stay up to date with evolving regulatory standards and financial risk methodologies to ensure best-in-class solutions.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong academic background (BSc and MSc) in Finance, Risk Management Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other related field.
  • At least (6) years of experience in financial risk management within consulting, financial services or banking.
  • Proven experience in one or more of the following: market and liquidity risk frameworks and methodologies, ESG/climate risk integration.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory landscape and risk methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.
  • Analytical, with problem solving skills and ability to think outside of the box.
  • Ability to prioritize various work deliverables with focus on quality and attention to detail while meeting projects' deadlines.
  • Strong team-player who can efficiently coordinate project priorities within the team and a wide range of different stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English.
  • CFA, FRM, or other professional qualifications will be considered an asset.
