Space Hellas, a leading system integrator in IT, Networking, Cybersecurity, and Telecommunications — is looking for a highly motivated
EU R&D Programmes Specialist
to join our team.

Our R&D Division is currently managing a portfolio of 30+ ongoing EU-funded projects across cybersecurity, cyber defence, 5G/6G networking, ICT observability, and advanced digital infrastructures.

In this role, you will play a key part in driving our participation in competitive EU funding programmes and reinforcing our R&D growth strategy, contributing directly to the company's innovation and business development objectives.

Main tasks:

  • Identify, monitor and assess EU funding opportunities (Horizon Europe, EDF, Digital Europe, ESA, CEF Digital, etc.) aligned with Space Hellas R&D strategy
  • Design high-quality project concepts together with technical teams and lead the establishment of international partnerships
  • Expand and strengthen Space Hellas R&D partner ecosystem by nurturing existing collaborations and building new strategic alliances
  • Develop winning proposals by coordinating the writing and ensuring compliance with EU requirements
  • Manage the end-to-end proposal preparation process, ensuring timely, high-quality submissions
  • Ensure Space Hellas strategic role within international consortia, enhancing leadership opportunities, visibility, and impact of project results.
  • Contribute to the company's business development strategy in R&D by aligning funding opportunities with market trends and emerging technologies

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in the field of Computer Science and/or Telecommunications
  • Proven experience in establishing and coordinating international consortia
  • Previous experience in EU-funded projects
  • Experience as project manager or coordinator in EU projects
  • Strong understanding of EU funding rules, evaluation criteria, and proposal structures
  • Excellent knowledge of English (both written & spoken)

Preferred qualifications:

  • PhD Degree
