Sales Specialist – Business Development
Job Description
•Map out commercial opportunities and identify target markets, customer segments, and artnership opportunities
•Build, qualify, and manage a pipeline of strategic partners and customers
•Lead business development efforts from outreach through deal structuring, negotiation, and closing
•Conduct discovery calls, presentations, and product/service demos to potential clients
•Meet or exceed sales targets, monthly, quarterly and yearly
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, develop product roadmaps, and ensure successful product launches
•Maintain accurate records of all communications and progress using CRM tools
•Stay updated on Greek market trends, customer needs and competitor activities
•Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams
Candidate Profile
•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
•2–5 years of experience in sales, ideally in high-value, high-tech markets and managing large accounts.
•Strong operational discipline with a focus on continuous improvement.
•Skilled in analyzing sales data to identify trends and uncover new opportunities.
•Proven success in outbound sales strategies, including cold calling.
•Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
•Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
•Willingness to travel 3–4 days per month.
•Experience in industries such as Logistics, HORECA, or Healthcare.
•Knowledge of robotics, mechatronics, or automation technologies is a plus.
