Senior Project Manager (Civil / Structural Engineer)
to join our skilled team.

Our projects relate to a variety of local and international clients in the hospitality, residential, and commercial sectors, providing our Project Managers with diverse, demanding, and fulfilling responsibilities.

We are currently looking for an in-house experienced Civil / Structural Engineer

with a strong focus on the Private Sector and a combination of experience in Structural Design, Site and Project Management.

To constitute a good fit, the candidate must be well-versed in construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results and contractual deliverables. This is a client-facing role and requires advanced communication skills.

The position reports to the Projects Director & Founder & Managing Director.

Major Tasks & Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality project and program management standards across the project lifecycle.
• Providing top-quality customer service to our clients.
• Leading and managing multi-disciplinary professional teams.
• Leading and facilitating communications and relationships with clients and stakeholders, implementing effective and efficient communication tools.
• Collaborating with engineers and other consultants to determine the specifications of the project.
• Design review, cost review.
• Value Engineering.
• Procuring Materials, Cost Evaluation of materials.
• Negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements to safeguard the clients' interests.
• Keeping track of contractual agreements and deliverables.
• Reviewing technical terms in contracts.
• Following up on the time schedule.
• Producing monthly reports, including timelines, risk registers, etc.
• Supervising the work on site when necessary.

Technical Experience

• 10 to 15 years of solid technical background in civil engineering, structural design, design review, and or construction in commercial and hospitality large-scale building projects.
• Proven experience in Project Management.
• Management of a project throughout its lifecycle.
• Management of Project Stakeholders.
• Management of Project Budget.
• Structural Design and Design Review.
• On-site supervision.

Use of software & systems

• Proficient in MS Office,
• Various Design programs, AUTOCAD or other equivalent software, etc.
• Experience in BIM environment will be considered a plus.
• Experience in Microsoft Project or other equivalent project management software will be considered a plus.
• Experience in construction management software (i.e., Aconex, Procore) will be considered a plus.

Education

• MSc. in Civil / Structural Engineering
• Project Management Accreditation

Languages

• Level of proficiency in English: advanced to proficient.
• Level of proficiency in Greek: native speaker.
