Onassis Foundation is looking for a strategic, experienced professional to join our team as a
Communication and Content Senior Manager
. Reporting to the Head of Communication & Content, he/she will support in shaping and executing the Foundation's communication strategy, overseeing campaigns, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring all content and messaging align with the Foundation's vision and goals.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with proven expertise in 360° campaign execution, communication planning, and team leadership, combined with a strong ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the Campaign, Content, Social Media, Media Office and Creative teams to align communication efforts
  • Guide and oversee the planning, design, and production of communication and content materials, ensuring alignment between corporate strategy and messaging, branding, and content execution
  • Optimize and manage communication workflows from planning and approvals to production and delivery by improving systems, removing bottlenecks, and ensuring timelines are met
  • Lead and coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure aligned, high-quality, and timely execution of multi-channel communication campaigns across the organization
  • Track and analyze performance metrics to generate insights, inform reporting, and drive data-based decisions that enhance the effectiveness of communication campaigns
  • Support crisis communication efforts by implementing rapid response strategies and coordinating internal teams to ensure consistent, accurate messaging in high-risk situations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in communications, content strategy, or in communication agencies and/or in house comms departments
  • Proven experience in managing teams, complex communication workflows, and large-scale initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English

  • Excellent project management capabilities across complex, multi-team initiatives
