PPC FiberGrid – Project Manager (Attica)

Project Manager of the Project Management and Network Operation Department of PPC FiberGrid establishes, in collaboration with the other departments of the company, develops and oversees the master implementation schedule of telecommunications projects. Project Manager coordinates internal and external partners, suppliers and contractors, with the primary goal of ensuring the timely, efficient, and high-quality completion of projects, both quantitatively and qualitatively, in line with the Organization's specifications and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops, assesses and updates the project implementation processes
  • Prepares project implementation schedules, monitors progress and adjust them as necessary to meet established objectives
  • Oversees the timely and successful completion of project deliverables by all stakeholders within and outside the organization
  • Specifies software systems, project management and control tools
  • Manages external partners, suppliers and contractors, involved in project implementation
  • Ensures resource adequacy, according to project requirements and their implementation schedule
  • Prepares comprehensive reports and monitors quantitative/qualitative project indicators, proactively identifies risks and implements corrective actions to mitigate them
  • Participates in the drafting and development of framework agreements or contracts for supply, management and support projects

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree from a University / Technological Education Institute in a technological / scientific discipline
  • At least five (5) years of experience in programming, project management and implementation in Telecommunications or a related High Technology or Construction industry
  • At least two (2) years of experience in FTTH Network development projects would be considered an asset
  • Desirable experience and knowledge:
  • of the use of project management and budgeting tools (PM), resource management systems (ERP) and planning
  • regarding the specifications/requirements subject to the regulatory framework
  • of PON architecture, HL and LLD design (fiber optic routing, splitting levels, P2P, metropolitan access networks, etc.)
  • Excellent oral & written communication and presentation skills in both Greek and English
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • knowledge of Power BI would be considered an asset
