Network Cloud Engineer (Attica)

Network Cloud Engineer is a member of the engineering team involved in the development, implementation and operation of IT Systems in cloud computing (Oracle cloud, Microsoft Azure, AWS).

Responsibilities:

• Contributes to the modernisation of the architecture and the basic technologies of PPC FiberGrid (indicatively, OCI, Azure, AWS) and the recording of technical requirements for the development and implementation of PPC FiberGrid systems
• Cooperates with the relevant Department of PPC Group to ensure optimal use of common infrastructure and systems, as well as the implementation and operation of the network system interfaces with the Group's systems
• Actively participates in the design and development of computing systems for telecommunication services on the cloud
• Effectively manages infrastructure system vendors and monitors the respective contracts
• Ensures the availability, performance and security of Cloud environments
• Supports all project teams for the smooth completion of the assigned projects, according to the plan
• Provides support and correspondence in cases of emergency

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in systems/networks/ Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or other technological field or a Bachelor of Science from a University, Technological Education Institute or College
• At least 3 years of professional experience, including 2 years in the implementation, configuration, and smooth operation of IT infrastructure systems
• Desirable experience in the implementation, configuration and smooth operation of information systems at an IT solutions or a telecommunications provider
• Required knowledge of MPLS, site-to-site (s2s) and point-to-site (p2s) VPNs, ExpressRoute, FastConnect Circuits
• Required knowledge of networks such as Subnetting and Supernetting
• Desirable knowledge in the management of SSL Certificates by public CA's or private CA's
• Desirable knowledge in the management of Storage blobs File shares, SFTP's
• Desirable knowledge in IaaC Terraform ή Bicep.
• Desirable knowledge in Powershell Scripting or bash
• Oral & written communication and presentation skills in both Greek and English
