Responsibilities

  • Monitors the timeline and the procedures of the implementation for the project contracts, the management of allocated resources and informs continuously in a timely manner about any changes that occur during their implementation, in collaboration with the relevant Departments
  • Undertakes the continuous review and optimization of contract and procurement management processes, aiming at the effectiveness, the cost reduction and the performance improvement of Generation Units
  • Assesses risks associated with contracts and procurement and develops strategies to mitigate those risks. Analyzes potential delays or other factors that may affect the smooth operation of Generation Units
  • Collects and processes data from previous contracts and orders to identify trends, costs and consumption patterns
  • Provides regular and ad-hoc analyses to management, with aggregated reports on costs, delivery times, contracts deviations and proposals for supply chain rationalization
  • Assists with specialized technical and analytical support in the preparation of technical specifications, with the aim of ensuring clarity, completeness and alignment with the operational and contractual requirements of the Generation Units

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a University or College or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Master's degree related to the degree of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering will be considered an additional qualification
  • At least two (2) years of relevant experience in managing and executing contracts and technical specifications (drafting/monitoring)
  • Experience in contract management in energy and/or industrial companies will be considered an additional qualification
  • Experience in data analysis and presentation using analysis and visualization software will be considered an additional qualification
  • License to practice the profession of Engineer in the corresponding specialty of the degree
  • Knowledge of Power BI and/or SAP ERP will be considered an additional qualification
  • Good knowledge of the English language
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Internet
  • Availability in case of emergency (upon phone contact)
  • Availability for urgent geographical relocations
