About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Financial Protection Specialist. In this role, you will play a critical part in protecting our company from financial losses due to fraudulent activities while maintaining sales and customer experience at optimal levels.

Your main responsibility will be to screen potentially high-risk transactions accurately and in a timely manner using a wide range of fraud prevention systems, tools, and reports. You will also identify fraud patterns or abnormalities and take appropriate actions to prevent similar activities and mitigate potential future fraud.

Responsibilities
  • Transaction Screening: Accurately and efficiently screen high-risk transactions using fraud prevention systems, tools, and reports.
  • Fraud Pattern Identification: Identify and analyze fraud patterns or abnormalities and take appropriate actions to prevent similar activities and mitigate potential future fraud.
  • Alert Processing: Thoroughly process and analyze fraud alerts received from external sources.
  • Authentication: Ensure transaction authenticity by contacting customers via phone and/or email.
  • Process Improvement: Propose innovative improvements to existing processes to further enhance fraud prevention and detection strategies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of the English language.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced experience with MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Critical Thinking: Strong critical thinking, analytical, and investigation skills.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
