About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to join our team at Vivisol Hellas, a leading home care provider. As a key member of our Finance Department, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting processes and ensuring compliance with tax and accounting regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Financial Statements: Draft monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Ensure adherence to tax, legal, and accounting regulations, as well as internal policies.
  • Management of Tax Obligations: File tax returns, manage VAT and other tax obligations, and stay up-to-date on changes in tax legislation.
  • Internal Controls and Procedures: Implement and improve internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Participate in budget creation and monitoring, assisting in financial result analysis.
  • Team Training and Guidance: Supervise the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and feedback to enhance performance.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in accounting or financial management, with at least 2-3 years in a senior management role.
  • Excellent understanding of local and international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of accountants.
  • Proficiency in ERP software, SAP, and advanced Excel tools.

Salary Range: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
