Market Development Director for Paper and Board in South East Europe

We are seeking a skilled Market Development Director to join our team at the VIPA Group. This exciting opportunity is based in Greece, with a focus on developing commercial activities in the South East Europe market.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will have experience in the Paper and Board industry, with strong commercial acumen and the ability to develop relationships with current and potential clients. The role involves trading of paper and board products, research and identification of new market opportunities, contacting potential clients, and negotiating prices with suppliers.

Responsibilities
  • Drive business growth through effective market analysis, strategy development, and execution
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and colleagues
  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets
  • Analyse sales, marketing, finance, and other reports to gain insights into how to improve performance and maximize growth
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of success in commercial roles, particularly in the Paper and Board industry
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise projects effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in a second language and particularly in any Balkan language is a plus
