Summary: We are seeking a Sales Assistant to provide exceptional client experience, manage waiting times, and assist Sales Associates in a luxury retail environment.

The Sales Assistant is an ambassador of the Maison, responsible for welcoming clients, managing waiting times, and ensuring they are taken care of in the most efficient manner. He/she assists Sales Associates during sales and coordinates between teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures an exceptional client experience at the entrance of the boutique
  • Seats clients when possible and offers drinks, reading, etc.
  • Informs clients about approximate waiting times and ensures the first available Sales Associate is taking care of them
  • Brings and returns pieces for Sales Associates
  • Assists discreetly with various tasks during sales
  • Coordinates between Sales Associates and Stockist/Cashier/Voituriers
  • Gift wrapping
  • Orders taxis
  • Accompanies clients to the door upon departure
  • Assists with After Sales duties (bringing pieces, etc.) without handling payments
  • Respects all brand and boutique policies and procedures
  • Participates in inventories
  • Participates in price labeling
  • Participates in the set up and breakdowns at opening and closing of the boutique
  • Participates in the implementation of Visual Merchandising guidelines
  • Orders boutique facilities (bags, drinks, edition material, office facilities, etc.)
  • Ensures the boutique, windows, counters, etc. are in perfect condition

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the hospitality sector or luxury retail
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and customer needs
  • Team-Player approach
  • Fluent in English and Italian
