Associate, REO Portfolio Management

Grivalia Management Company S.A. is hiring an Associate to join the REO Portfolio Management team. The successful candidate will will assist in managing the REO portfolio, engaging in a broad range of activities from property acquisition to leasing or selling the assets.
Responsibilities
Primary
1.Portfolio monitoring and management:
- Participate in portfolio classification and define suitable strategies for each asset (e.g., lease, sale, or potential CAPEX investment).
- Contribute to the determination of marketing strategies, including setting asking prices and selecting sales channels.
- Provide information and support to the commercialization team.
- Participate in offers evaluation, monitor the approval process, preparation of relevant presentations to committees.
- Support the sales finalization team, coordinating with involved parties (clients, outsourcers, notaries, etc.).
- Assist with bulk sales processes, including portfolio analysis, preparation of asset files, and presentations.
2.Reporting/Monitoring of Outsourcers:
- Prepare regular or ad hoc reports for owner or third parties (e.g., supervising authorities, financial auditors).
- Participate in and support business planning, budget preparation, and monitoring (annual and three-year plans).
- Monitor property managers and commercialization outsourcers.
- Review outsourcer reports and manage invoicing.
- Oversee regular valuation processes for the portfolio, including impairments.
- Collect, analyze, and present data to support top management reporting (portfolio segmentation, sales, leases, etc.).
- Prepare presentations on the properties under management for relevant committees.
Secondary
1.Asset preparation:
- Monitor the asset preparation process for the portfolio under management.
- Support the onboarding department in making business decisions related to onboarding.
2.Property Leases:
- Monitor and support the commercialization team, including receiving offers, conducting negotiations, providing information, and facilitating property visits and approval processes.
- Participate in tenant negotiations and draft new lease agreements, addendums, or terminations in coordination with the legal department or third-party property managers.
- Communicate with tenants regarding legal, financial, and technical issues arising from lease agreements, in close cooperation with technical, legal, and finance teams or third-party property managers.
Qualifications
- Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate or Engineering or Finance or, Business Administration, Property Development or a related field, ideally combined with an MSc or MBA. - Proficiency in Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Professional Experience:
Experience in property - asset management / property valuation / real estate development will be considered an asset - Job-Specific & Personal Skills
: Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills (oral and writing in Greek and English). Effective negotiation and problem-solving abilities. Multitasking ability and management of complex projects. Results-oriented, motivated, and driven by successful outcomes.
