Legal & Compliance Associate

Position Overview:

Working for the Group's Legal & Compliance Office, responsible for drafting and reviewing legal documents, designing and implementing company and business policies and procedures. The key responsibilities of the suitable candidate will include:

  • Handling Legal Document Management: Drafting, reviewing, and editing legal documents, including contracts, corporate documentation and correspondence.
  • Ensuring design, implementation and updating of Group policies and procedures, in accordance with local law and regulations.
  • Assisting with filing and record keeping.
  • Teamwork: Collaborating closely with the Legal & Compliance Officer and the Group's business units to ensure seamless case management.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law.
  • Master of Laws (LLM) or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Law, Compliance, Risk, Audit, Business Administration or related field of study.
  • Admitted to the Greek Bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years prior work experience and track record in Corporate, Civil and Commercial Law, preferably in a corporate environment. Good knowledge and experience in Administrative Law will be considered a plus. Prior occupation with corporate governance and compliance matters will also be considered an additional asset.
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills in Greek and English.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively as a team member and independently, taking full ownership of matters and effectively managing deadlines.
  • Strong research and concise writing skills, attention to detail.
  • Organizational skills, working within set deadlines.
  • Exercise effective communication and interpersonal skills.
