Legal Counsel
for

The ideal candidate will safeguard our company's legal interests while playing a critical role in managing contracts, assessing risks, guiding compliance and providing legal expertise.

Responsibilities – Duties

The
Legal Counsel
will:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements and other legal documents to safeguard the company's rights and interests.
  • Provide practical legal advice guidance corporate, commercial, labor, and regulatory matters as well as  intellectual property (patents, trademarks, copyrights) issues.
  • Manage and coordinate legal disputes, litigation, and claims; liaise with external counsel when / if necessary. Conduct legal research and analysis on issues impacting business operations (commercial & factory related).
  • Develop, implement and advise on all respective policies and procedures, compliance frameworks, and training programs for employees (i.e. GDPR, Whistleblowing, Anti-Bribery etc.).Ensure all legal documents and respective correspondence are accurate, up to date and aligned with the latest legislation and regulatory requirements of the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and provide legal guidance if required.
  • Stay up to date with the respective regulatory framework ensuring company-wide compliance.
  • Review in depth and take on all related ESG initiatives and respective action plans.
  • Supervise disclosure obligations and pharmaceutical compliance requirements (i.e. of donations to HCOs and honoraria of HCPs).
  • Draft minutes and resolutions of company administrative bodies.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Law degree from a recognized institution and license to practice law in Greece.
  • 3-5 years of professional legal experience, with at least part gained In-house experience.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical law will be considered as a strong advantage.
  • Solid knowledge in commercial and corporate law.
  • Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
