ORBYT-GLOBAL S.A. based in Piraeus seeks for a motivated and hardworking candidate for the Customer Support / NOC (Network Operation Center).

ORBYT GLOBAL is a maritime technology company operating across the world providing Telecommunications, e-Charts & IT solutions. Our scope is to make it easy for the global shipping to manage its Navigation, Communications and Connectivity needs from a single source.

The Position:
We're looking for L1 Technical Support / NOC Engineer, able to work on a rotating shift schedule.
The job is on-site in Piraeus.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree (AEI or TEI) in Computer science, Informatics, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or related fields.
· Excellent organization, communication (written and oral) & negotiation skills.
· Fluent in Greek and English languages.
· Excellent knowledge of MS Operating Systems and Office 365 products.
· Linux (Ubuntu) knowledge will be considered a plus.
· Good understanding of OSI Layer, TCP/IP networking and firewalls.
· Excellent computer skills.
· Working experience in similar customer-facing positions.
Nice to have:
· Experience in satellite communications
· CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
Responsibilities:
The candidate should be able to perform daily support tasks and handle customer requests/enquiries for the department, in line with Company regulations and procedures.
Responsibilities of the role include working in CRM, ERP, and a ticketing environment, assisting customers in becoming familiar with the use of our products and services, and making the necessary arrangements to set up vessels in suppliers' databases after the business is finalized.
The candidate will be educated on the technical support procedures and state of the art proprietary solutions, as well as the company's services and portfolio.
