Resolute Cepal Greece Group is seeking a detail-oriented and analyticalPayroll Controller

to join the Finance team and act as a liaison partner across HR Operations and Finance. This role is responsible for monitoring, analysing, reconciling and reporting workforce and payroll data, while supporting operational efficiency and cost optimization.

What You'll Do(Key Responsibilities)

  • Develop and maintain HR Financial reports and dashboards (headcount, turnover, absences, payroll costs, benefits, overtime, cost centres, etc.).
  • Monitor and control HR budgets and personnel costs; ensure alignment with budget.
  • Conduct reconciliations, variance analysis, forecasting and cost optimization initiatives in collaboration with HR & Finance teams.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of payroll and HR data; coordinate with Payroll, Finance, and HR stakeholders.
  • Support internal audits and implement internal controls for payroll processes.
  • Report on HR-related KPIs and metrics.
  • Support financial planning and workforce cost modelling to enable accurate budgeting and forecasting.
  • Provide actionable insights for financial decision-making.

What We're Looking For(Requirements / Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Payroll Controlling, HR Analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in HR payroll systems and advanced MS Excel; experience with BI tools is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of payroll processes, compensation & benefits practices and employee tax-related matters.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to present complex data clearly to management.
  • Effective stakeholder management
  • Excellent communication skills in Greek and English.
