The position

We are seeking an
HR Manager, Payroll & Administration,
on behalf of our client, a leading organization in premium hospitality and event services.

The position carries responsibility for HR operations, including recruitment, training, payroll, and legal compliance. Reporting to the General Manager, the HR Manager will ensure accurate payroll delivery, adherence to labour legislation and smooth administration of the employee lifecycle – fostering a culture of professionalism, engagement and continuous improvement across the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

·      To manage all HR related issues, identifying future need in terms of people based on forecasted business and ensuring availability, development and compliance to government regulations.

·      To develop the HR budget in cooperation with the General Manager across the organization, setting compensation specifics, putting systems in place to monitor work per employee.

·      To monitor payroll monthly, making sure that the operation of the organization is accurate and dynamic in terms of its alignment to changing legislation.

·      To monitor the implementation of the HR budget throughout the year, structuring and producing HR reports in agreed time frames to keep control of the financial elements of HR.

·      To monitor state legislation in cooperation with external partners, to be constantly aligned with new developments, and take initiative when needed to develop internal structures, processes, or procedures to allow for compliance.

·      To manage & monitor company benefits, including medical insurance, pension plans and other compensation in kind, which need to be quantified and potentially modified or further extended.

·      To recruit people based on the needs of the operations, directly or through third parties.

·      To develop and organize onboarding as well as periodical training of people both in terms of technical knowledge, as well as in terms of standards of behavior, customer service and customer satisfaction.

·      To organize and manage employee issues of any nature when presented to HR. These may be related to personal needs, behaviors within the organization, processes or procedures in place to support different occasions.

·      To act as the first point of contact of the organization for the people, communicating issues, evaluating potential requests, and personalizing the organization to its people.

·      To manage HR administration across all areas including employment contracts, social security, government relations in a smooth and cooperative way and dealing with any issues that may arise regarding specific employees or the organization as a whole.

Requirements

·      Degree in Business, Law, Finance, or related.

·      Fluent in English and Greek, both written and spoken.

·      Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR or related legal roles.

·      Experience in a comparable HR environment will be positively evaluated.

·     Background in legal or HR positions, preferably within small to medium-sized organizations.

·    Experience in service-oriented businesses, particularly in the hospitality / F&B sector, is considered a plus.

·      Expertise in administrative and legal aspects of HR, with practical experience in recruitment, training, and development, particularly for frontline or entry-level staff.

·      Experience in structured HR or compliance-driven environments, reflecting a focus on employee respect, operational excellence, compliance, and financial integrity.
